I serve as Board Treasurer for a local Elks Lodge, overseeing financial operations for an organization managing an annual budget exceeding $300,000. In this role, I maintain the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, ensure accurate transaction documentation, and develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with the Board to support fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability. I prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making, ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices, and support the annual audit process while acting as a fiduciary steward of Lodge assets. In addition to financial leadership, I chair the IT Committee, maintaining and enhancing the Lodge’s website, managing the Point of Sale system to ensure operational reliability, and providing technical support as needed. I also serve as Web Administrator and Chair for the state association, overseeing digital presence and ensuring accurate, accessible communication across member lodges.
