Zach Mumbauer Personal Automations
Personal Automations is a small set of private tools I build and run for myself to remove repetitive administrative work from accounts I own or administer.
These are not products. There is no sign-up, no user accounts, no hosted service, and nothing is offered to the public. Each tool runs on my own machine, under my own credentials, against my own data.
What these tools do
The automations connect to my Google account to handle work that would otherwise be manual:
- 01Calendar upkeep — reading event details out of incoming newsletters and announcements (including PDF attachments and image flyers), checking whether an entry already exists, and creating, updating, or removing calendar events so a shared calendar stays accurate.
- 02Mailbox triage — reading messages in specific mailboxes I own to find the ones relevant to a task, and applying labels to record which have already been handled.
Where a task is repetitive, error-prone, and confined to my own accounts, I automate it rather than do it by hand. New tools are added over time; they operate on the same accounts, for the same kind of administrative purpose, under this same OAuth configuration.
Who uses them
Only me. They operate solely on Google accounts I own or administer, and share no data with anyone.
